Perhaps humans not being able to unite as a race is a challenge to the existence of the race: a Darwinian test to see if humankind can take the next step up in species evolution. That next step in the evolution of the species is to overcome the barriers that don’t allow us to collaborate for the goal of survival. We haven’t yet broken away from today’s mere selfish infighting.
