Knowing what we now know about risks of human extinction, it is finally time for our extinction risk philosophers to evolve. The risks are already very well understood but not being prioritized and prevented. Our philosophers will have to mature from being medicine-men witch-doctor shamans chanting pure philosophy and shaking their rattles pretending to cure the risk of extinction.

Our philosophers need to transform into, or, much more likely, be completely replaced by, much more competent politicians, engineers and scientists. These would work globally with governments worldwide to design and implement actual effective physical remediations.
